Circle Map

Students can use the circle map to define something, show their understanding of a topic, or to generate ideas. On the outside of the circle, students can write what they know about the topic. This may be called the "frame of reference". Sometimes the circle is split in half; the top represents "before" and the bottom "after," similar to the function of a KWL chart.
