Diamante Poem Lesson Plan
A Diamante poem, pronounced, “dee-uh-MAHN-tay” is a seven-lined poem that forms the shape of a diamond. This type of poem reinforces basic grammatical parts of speech and relationship between words while allowing creative license to a student. Using Lucidchart, students will gain new skills from working on a poem but even more so, they will combine the writing process with digital technology.
