Data Privacy Agreements and COPPA:Instructure’s Data Privacy Officer and team have been involved in ensuring proper processes are in place to confirm data privacy and security. There is a signed DPA between the two parties. If an institution needs a separate agreement with Lucid, please email bdavis@lucid.co. For US-based K-12 institutions: All will need to complete the Lucid COPPA Acknowledgment form before the integration will work for them. See HERE for more details.

Lucid's COPPA acknowledgment process for K-12 schools and districts
Context:
Due to the Federal Trade Commission’s upcoming changes to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), Lucid for Education must obtain a K-12 education institution's direct consent, on behalf of parents, to collect personal information from students under 13 in order to provide the Lucid Suite as an educational tool.
